This programme will introduce your child to another aircraft rating while developing the communication, teamwork, leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills used by professional airline crews. Using our professional full-cockpit A320 Flight Training Device (FTD) and advanced flight simulation software, students will experience what it is like to operate a modern commercial aircraft while learning the principles of Crew Resource Management (CRM) .

Course Structure — 22 Interactive Sessions
Phase 1: Cockpit Discoveries — Sessions 1 –4
Group Format
Students are introduced to the A320 flight deck and its major systems. They will explore:
- Flight deck layout and instruments
- Flight controls and manual flying
- Basic aircraft handling
- Introduction to advanced flight computers
- Fundamental cockpit procedures
Phase 2: Inside the Systems — Sessions 5 –10
Two- Pilot Crew Training
Students begin working in pairs as Captain and Co – Pilot.
They will learn how to:
- Power up the aircraft from a cold – and- dark state
- Programme the flight management system
- Manage aircraft electrical systems
- Understand fuel management
- Operate environmental and climate – control systems
- Coordinate cockpit duties between two pilots
Phase 3: Airline Operations — Sessions 11 –15
Two- Pilot Crew Training
Students move into realistic airline operations and practise:
- Full airline takeoffs
- Flight navigation
- Automated flight operations
- Airport arrivals and approaches
- Flying in challenging weather conditions
- Smooth and controlled landings
- Effective crew coordination
Phase 4: Emergency Management — Sessions 16 –20
Two- Pilot Crew Training
Students are introduced to simulated abnormal and emergency scenarios designed to develop calm decision – making and teamwork under pressure.
They will practise responding to situations such as:
- Electrical system abnormalities
- Engine -related problems
- Unexpected aircraft system indications
- High – workload situations
The emphasis is not simply on solving the technical problem, but on how the crew communicates, prioritises, makes decisions, and works together.
Phase 5: Graduation Checkride — Sessions 21 –22
The programme concludes with a collaborative theory assessment followed by a
complete airline flight simulation.
Students will operate a 45- minute simulated airline route from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur , applying the knowledge and crew – management skills developed throughout the programme.
Successful completion will be celebrated with an official certificate and pilot wings pinning ceremony.
